Lewis Murphy, Caolan Hayes, Colm Hayes, Darragh Calnan, Seamas O’Mahony, Mary Kate Hennessy, Kate Whelton and Ellen O’Hea under the mentorship of Breda Hurley gave a tremendous performance of ‘The Salmon of Knowledge’ and won second place in the Leiriú competition. Aoife McSweeney, Orla O’Gorman and Kate Creedon under the mentorship of Eileen Mc Sweeney gave a powerful performance in the Ballad group competition and narrowly missed out. Many thanks to family and friends who supported all the participants since the first competition that started back on January 19th. With that the curtains came down on Scór 2014.

A point from distance from Brian Shanahan was followed by good work from Declan Hayes which resulted in a Ross turnover and Seamus Hayes slotting home for the first goal of the game. Three quick points from John O'Rourke, Seamus Hayes and Brian Shanahan helped Ross build on their lead. Declan Hayes then scored the second goal after he was on the end of a good pass from John Hayes.
