CORK GAA SENIOR FOOTBALL
Broadcast live by TG4, Carbery Rangers opened their 2020 Football Championship with a game against  Castlehaven on Sunday last in Clonakilty .An unusual atmosphere because of the current public restrictions didint deter from an action packed game.  Playing without the injured John Hayes and John O Rourke, Rangers had the stiff wind at their backs for the opening thirty minutes. An exciting fiery first half ended with the teams level , seven points each , the sides level on four different occasions. The second half saw Castlehaven dominate and go on to win 0-14 to 0-09. 
Rangers now look ahead to their next group game, a clash with Ilen Rovers in just over two weeks.

CARBERY GAA JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP:
On Sunday evening, our junior footballers lost to O Donovan Rossa in the Junior Championship 1-06 to 0-07. At half time Skibb were ahead 1-02 to 0-03 and in a downpour both sides scored 4 points in the second half to give Skibb victory. Rangers will be in action again in 2 weeks.

REBEL OG WEST U16 DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
On Sunday morning, our U16's played Gabriel Rangers in Newtown in an excellent game that could have gone either way. It was end to end stuff with Ross ahead at half time 2-08 to 2-04. The lead exchanged hands several times in the second half and despite trailing at the full time whistle 3-13 to 3-11 , Carbery Rangers will be very pleased with their performance.
