The Juniors lost out by the minimum to Ballinascarthy in the West Cork Semi Final on Sunday last in Ardfield,  Full Time Score Carbery Rangers 1-06 Ballinascarthy 0-10 in a tough physical game.

Rangers played their best football in the first half and were trailing at half time 0-05 to 0-06.

Bal raced into a 0-09 to 0-05 lead seven minutes into the second half and it was in the 25th minute Rangers got their first point of the half before Bal got another to have 4 between the teams with 3 mins left. A frantic effort by Rangers saw Sean O Neill goal on the 29th minute but they couldn't get the needed equaliser, so it was Bal who won and are through to the final.
