PREMIER MINOR FOOTBALL
The Minors had a great win over St Finbarr's in the Premier 1 Minor Football League last Friday in Enniskeane.
A high scoring game, that was played at a frantic pace ,it was good preparation for their Championship game this coming Wednesday in Ahiohill against Ballincollig.
Rangers scored 2-18 from play kicking some great points. Ross had a lead of 5 points to 2 after 10 minutes before the Barr's goaled and from then until half time it was end to end football with the sides level 0-11 to 1-08 at the whistle. Both teams moved up a gear in the second half and exchanged the lead on several occasions. With full time up and injury time being played it looked like a draw was on the cards until Eoghan Hayes scored a cracker of goal to give Rangers a well deserved win 2-19 to 3-13.

CORK GAA
Carbery Rangers had great representation on both the Cork U20 and Minor Football teams last Sunday in Tullamore in the All Ireland Semi Final and Quarter Final respectively.
Well done to Mark Hodnett and Maurice Moore on their fantastic win over Tyrone in the U20 semi final. They showed great resilience and character to come back and win having been seven points down early in the second half.  Mark had a huge impact when introduced  ,scoring an important point immediately and fielding some great ball. Coach Maurice Moore  deserves great credit for bringing this bunch to an All Ireland Final this weekend coming which will be played in Portlaoise on Saturday August 3rd against Dublin at 4pm. We wish Mark, Maurice and everyone  involved the best of luck.
Kelan Scannell was involved with the minors in their comfortable win over Monaghan and had a big contribution throughout ,also scoring a good point. Well done to Kelan. The minors play Mayo in the All Ireland Semi Final in two weeks time.
The Cork Seniors play Rosscommon on Sunday , August 4th, in Pairc Ui Rinn at 4pm.
This is their last game in the Super 8's and while they haven't qualified,  they will be pleased with their very positive  improvement in the last few months.
