Premier 1 Minor Football League :
Rangers travelled to Douglas on Monday night and put in a great effort in an excellent game of football against the hosts. Trailing 2-03 to 0-00 after six minutes, it looked like Rangers were in trouble and after eight mi utes they were down to 14 players due to injuries. But they quickly fought their way into the game and had Douglas' s lead back to two points, 2-03 to 2-01 after . At half time it was Douglas who lead 2-10 to 2-06. By the 23rd  minute of the second half the sides were level and given the huge effort and good football played , a draw would have been a fair result.  But Douglas were awarded a penalty just before the final whistle which they scored to give them a win.  Full Time Score,  Carbery Rangers 3-14 Douglas 3-17.
