The Senior Footballers had a good win in  the Division 1 Senior Football League over St Finbarr's on Sunday, full time score,  Carbery Rangers 1-11 St Finbarr's 1-09. At half time the sides were level, the Barrs getting a goal after eleven minutes, 0-07 to 1-04. In the second half Rangers kicked, like they did in the first, some good scores and Mark Hodnett scored a well taken goal. On Wednesday last,  the Juniors took on Ilen Rovers in the division 2 league in Ardagh and had a comprehensive win, 4-17 to 1-04. 
At half time Rangers were ahead 1-07 to 1-03 and held Ilen to a single point in the second half.

On Tuesday night,  Carbery Rangers played Ibane in the Non Exam League in Newtown. There was little between the teams in the first half and Rangers were ahead at half time 0-07 to 0-06. Rangers got the first two points of the second half to go three in front but Ibane got 1-05 without reply to go ahead 1-11 to 0-09 mid way through the second half.  It was end to end football for the remainder of the game , both sides exchanging points and Rangers pulling back Ibanes lead.  Both sides got goals, Rangers from Cillian Keane  to leave the teams level at the final whistle,  full time score,  Carbery Rangers 1-15  Ibane Gaels 2-12

Carbery Gaa  Junior A  Division 2 Football League,  Carbery Rangers V Dohenys , Tuesday June 4th in Dunmanway at 7-30pm. 

The Under 8's travelled to Castlehaven during the week to play the hosts , with excellent skills on display by the young Rangers. 
Well done boys. 

Congratulations to Lisavaid National School on  winning The Division 9 Section of Sciath Na Scol West Cork during the week . A great performance by all involved,  which includes players from Carbery Rangers. 

The Club would like to wish all their players and members who are sitting their Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate Exams in the next few weeks, the best of luck.

Carbery Scór is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary and a function to celebrate this will be held in The Celtic Ross Hotel on Friday June 14th at 8-30pm. Carbery Rangers Gaa has enjoyed it's very successful involvement with Scór and tickets to celebrate this occasion can be got from Eileen Mcsweeney or Liam Hodnett.  Contact 0872890314

Kevin O Donovan from Midleton is doing a fundraiser for The Cork Deaf Association and Parkinson's Disease Cork,  by running a mile in every Gaa pitch in Co Cork.  This Saturday June 1st, he will run a mile in Ardagh at 9am and anyone that is interested in running with him is welcome to attend.
