SENIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
The Seniors had a good win in the Division 1 Senior Football League on Friday last against Skibb in Ardagh, full time score 1-16 to 2-08.
At half time Rangers had a two point advantage, 0-07 to 0-05 and playing the better football ,will be pleased with their second half performance.

PREMIER 2 U16 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
On Saturday,  Rangers took on St Nick's in the Premier 2 U16 Football Championship in Kilmichael and after an exciting game of football were unlucky to loose by the minimum, St Nick's  3-08 Rangers 2-10.
A tough encounter saw both sides dominate at different junctures, with St Nick's ahead at half time by a point, 2-04 to 1-06 with Ciaran Santry getting the Ross goal. Twice the sides were level in the first half and in the final ten minutes of the half Rangers went ahead by two, but Nick's got a goal just before half time to  give them the lead .Rangers were unlucky not to have 2 more goals in the first half.
Nick's scored 1-01 in the opening two minutes of the second half and held the lead for the rest of the game. On the 28th minute Conor Twomey goaled to leave two points between them, a Peadar O Rourke point brought it to the minimum, but Nick's held on despite Ranger's best efforts in an exciting contest.

PREMIER 1 MINOR  FOOTBALL LEAGUE
On Wednesday last, the Minors travelled to Trabeg to play Nemo Rangers in the league. Trailing at half time 1-03 to 2-05  , Rangers failed to take their chances in both halves and the game was much closer than the final scoreline  suggests, with Nemo winning 3-09 to 1-06.

UNDER 12 FOOTBALL
The under 12's played Killeen on Sunday in a challenge game and gave a great display in a sporting contest.


COACHING
It was a busy week on the coaching front.
Carbery Gaa held a Coaching Course  for coaches from the Carbery Division in Ahamilla on Saturday last.  Carbery Rangers were represented at this event.
Also in Ahamilla on Saturday,  a Go Games  Referees course was held, with Club secretary Liam O Shea who is also a Carbery Referee instructing those in attendance which included some under age , future Carbery Rangers Referees.
In conjunction with Ross Ladies, a Rebel Og  Foundation 1 Course was  held in Ardagh on Saturday morning   with large numbers from both clubs in  attendance.
The transition year students in Mount St Michael Secondary School completed their TY Coaching program in conjunction with Carbery Rangers  last week and held a Supergamescenter  blitz for the school's Ist Year Students. Well done to all those involved and a special thanks to Gda James McCarthy and Carbery Coaching Officer Paudie Crowley for their help in this.

U-14  B Football League: Carbery Rangers V O Donovan Rossa this Friday April 5th in Newtown at 6-45.
U-12 : Carbery Rangers V Newcestown this Monday April 8th in Newtown at 7pm.


CORK GAA MONTHLY DRAW
Congratulations to Bill and Declan Harte,  and Martin Deasy Gullane,  who were March winners in the Cork Gaa County Board Draw.
Bill and Declan won a luxury hotel break while Martin won a €150 Tom Murphy Menswear Voucher.
