Club News 30th January 2019 - 30/01/2019

The Celtic Ross Hotel was the venue for the sold out fundraiser "RosSync" on Saturday night last and what a night it was for the Rosscarbery Community . From start to finish, those lucky enough to have tickets, enjoyed 12 brilliant acts before "The Underage Mums " were announced as the winners. They saw off stiff competition from the other 11 acts and were deserving winners.A huge success,  this joint fundraiser hosted by Carbery Rangers Gaa Club and Rosscarbery Ladies Football Club ,was the result of a tremendous amount of work by the organisers,  the 12 acts, the presenters &  the judges. A special mention to all those who sponsored the event , in particular Allshires/Rosscarbery Recipes   The Celtic Ross Hotel and Musgraves.  Once again well done to everyone involved.

The U21's are through to the semi-final stage of the U21 A Glenville Cup where they will meet the winners of Glanmire and O'Donovan Rossa.
On Wednesday last,  they travelled to Éire Og and were very unlucky to loose by a point on a scoreline of Carbery Rangers 0-13 Éire Og 1-11.  Rangers were 2 points ahead before Éire Og got their opening score, a goal and at  half time the sides were level 0-07 to 1-04.
There was very little between the sides in the second half and over the half the sides swapped points with Eire Og coming out on top by the minimum.
