U21 Championship/Easter Camp/Club Lotto - 28/03/2018

On Saturday , Our Minors had their first outing of the year , when they played Nemo Rangers in The Premier 1 Football League in Nemo. While they didnt come out on top at the end, they can be pleased with their performance in a good, tough game of football that could have gone either way and was good preparation for their upcoming championship .
Nemo got off to a better start and were 1-04 to 0-1 ahead after 12 mins. But the Ross boys settled well and were unlucky not to have gotten a goal or 2 and to be behind at half time 1-07 to 0-6. In the second half , Ross continued to work hard all over the pitch and a great move started by Fintan Barrett, saw Paul Hodnett goal bound before he passed the ball to Patrick Hurley who made no mistake and buried it in the net. It was a well fought second half and the final score saw Nemo win 1-14 to 1-11.
