Under 14 lose out at semi-final stage / Presidents Cup / No lotto winner - 31/10/2017

Under 14 Footballers
Hard luck to the under 14 footballers who played Castlehaven on Sunday in Leap in the semi final of the premier 2 championship and who lost of a final score of 6-10 to 2-17.


Ross had a good start to the game and lead at half time on a score of 1-10 to 0-6. Then in the second half Castlehaven got in for some goals to take the lead, Ross responded well to this, but two late goals gave victory to Castlehaven on the day.

Presidents' Cup
The underage nursery training for  our under 6's and under 8's concluded on Saturday last alongside the under 10 footballer’s who played in the clubs Presidents Cup. Senior players John Hayes, Seamus Hayes and Stephen Murray presented medals to all involved. We would like to thank everyone involved from players, parents and coached for the hard work done throughout the year.


We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 17, 22 and 31; Consolation prizes: €50 Seamus Callanan, Tullineaskey; €30 Eamon Hodnett, Caherbeg; €20 James O'Leary, Ardfield; €20 O'Reilly's Centra Voucher, Paddy Coughlan, Carrigroe. Next week's draw will take place in Nolan's Bar with a jackpot of €4,800.


Upcoming Fixtures
Best of luck to the under 16 footballers who play St. Finbarr's in the replay of the premier 1 county final on Saturday October 14th in Cloughduv at 2pm. The minor premier 2 semi final against Ballincollig is fixed for Saturday October 21st, the venue and time for this game is not yet confirmed. Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.
