Under 16's force replay in Premier 1 County Final / Seniors bow out of championship at semi final stage / Under 14's record championship win over Valley Rovers - 03/10/2017

Under 16 Footballers
Our under 16's played St. Finbarr's in the premier 1 County Final on Saturday in Cloughduv in an excellent game,  where Ross staged a dramatic recovery scoring the last 8 points of the game to draw the match on a final score of 0-12 to 1-9 with Jack O'Regan getting the equalising score of the game to force a replay.

St. Finbarr's started strongly and by half time had a lead of 1-6 to 0-3 with Paul Hodnett getting all the Ross first half points. After six minutes of the second half, the score was 1-9 to 0-4 in favour of the Barr's, Ross then came into the game and points from Paul Hodnett, Jack O'Regan, Eoghan Hayes and Evan Browne completed the fantastic come back. The team as a whole played outstanding with goalkeeper Aaron O'Brien and the defense keeping the strong St. Finbarr's attack scoreless for the last 25 minutes of the game, midfielders Ciaran Calnan and Jack O'Regan winning great ball to supply the energetic forwards whose movement on a wet day caused plenty problems for the Barr's defense. The replay is fixed for Cloughduv on Saturday October 14th at 2pm.
