Under 12 League
Last Monday evening Castletownbere made the long journey to Ardagh to play round 3 of the Under 12 league. On a wet evening both teams served up a great game. Castletown went into an early lead of 0-2 to 0-0. Goals from Pablo Alonso-Martirena, Ronan Hayes and Ben Linehan had the young Rangers leading at half time 3-02 to 1-4. A second goal from Ben Linehan had Ross leading by 4 points halfway through the 2nd half. Castletownbere hit a purple patch which saw them score 2 goals and lead by 2 points going into the final 5 minutes. Ross battled hard and Pablo put over a point to bring it back to 1 point. With time running out Matthew Fitzpatrick scored a great point to level the game. This was a great team performance.

Final score 4-05 a piece.
