We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 4, 8 and 37. Next week's draw will take place in the Celtic Ross hotel with a jackpot of €5,600.

Night at the Dogs 2017
Tickets are still available for the Carbery Rangers GAA “night at the Dogs” fundraiser in Curraheen Park on Friday the 21st April 2017. Tickets are €10 each or family tickets are available for €20, this includes admission and race card as well as entry to a draw on the night. Kelleher Shield
The senior footballers played Valley Rovers on Sunday evening last in their Kelleher Shield league game in Rosscarbery and had a good win on a final score of 2-15 to 2-6.

Ross started well and got the first three points of the game, but Valley Rovers opened their scoring with a goal followed by a quick point to go into the lead; both teams then exchanged points before a goal from wing forward Brian Hodnett left Ross leading at the break by three points on a score of 1-6 to 1-3. A penalty early in the second half for Valley Rovers resulted in their second goal of the night, Ross responded well to this, with some well worked points. Then a second penalty was awarded in the game, this time to Carbery Rangers, resulting in a goal from John Hayes. Some good defending and excellent saves from Carbery Rangers Anthony Roche saw Carbery Rangers win out on a final score of 2-15 to 2-6.

Upcoming Fixtures
Best of luck to the junior footballers who are in championship action on Thursday night, April 13th at 6.45pm in Castlehaven against O'Donovan Rossa. Then on Saturday evening next, April 15th, the senior footballers also play O'Donovan Rossa away in Skibbereen, in the Kelleher Shield at 7pm. The under 16 footballers refixed premier league game against Bishopstown is on Thursday, April 20th in Bishopstown at 7pm and the refixed under 15 premier league game against Fermoy is on Tuesday, April 18th in Fermoy at 7pm. The minor footballers are down to play Glanmire on the 26th of April away in Sallybrook at 7pm. Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.
