Night at the Dogs 2017
Carbery Rangers GAA club are holding a “night at the Dogs” fundraiser at Curraheen Park on Friday the 21st April 2017. It promises to be a great night, with the “Andy Scannell Cup” as a special guest on the night. Tickets are €10 each or  family tickets are available for €20, this includes admission and race card as well as entry to a draw on the night. Minor Footballers
Hard luck to the minor footballers who travelled to Mahon on Saturday last to play hosts St. Michael's and lost on a final score of 4-6 to 4-3. Ross started the game well with three goals from John Hodnett and another from john O'Brien had them leading at half time, but a good comeback from St. Michael's saw them win out.

We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 1, 21 and 22. Consolation prizes: €50 Donal Goulding, Ovens; €30 Tim Daly, online ticket; €20 Shay Crowley, Church St.; €20 voucher sponsored by O'Reilly's Centra, Breda Hayes, Barley Hill. Next weeks draw will take place in O'Brien's Bar with a jackpot of €5,200.


Upcoming Fixtures
On Friday March 31st, the under 16 footballers travel to Carrigaline to play Carrigaline in the premier league at 8pm. while on Sunday, April 2nd, the minor footballers are down to play Midleton at home in Ardagh at 12.30. Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.


Best of luck to the under 14 footballers are involved in the Evening Echo, Feile no nÓg on Saturday morning, April 1st. Carbery Rangers are in a group with St. Finbarrs, Na Piarsaig, Eire Og and Mallow; and their games are all in the St. Finbarr's grounds in Togher and the first game is on at 11am. ,
