Under 21 Championship
Good luck to the under 21 footballers who play Ilen Rovers in the first round of the championship on Sunday next, March 5th at 3pm in Ardfield

We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 7, 22 and 25. Consolation prizes: €50 Denis Nyhan, c/o O'Driscoll's Bar; €30 Helen O'Driscoll, Reenascreena; €20 Rosscarbery Ladies GAA; €20 Rory Hicks, Ballinacarriga. Next weeks draw will take place in O'Driscoll's Bar with a jackpot of €4,400.

Minor Footballers
Well done to the minor footballers who travelled to Ballincollig on Saturday last to play Ballincollig in the Premier league and had an excellent win on a final score of 3-13 to 1-8. 
First half goals from Patrick Hurley, James O'Riordan and Darragh Hayes gave the Ross lads a half time lead of 3-8 to 0-5.  Ballincollig got a second half goal to reduce the lead, but Ross finished out strongly with John Hodnett finishing the game with 0-5 and Darragh Hayes scoring 1-3.

Kelleher Shield
The senior footballers played Nemo Rangers on Sunday in Rosscarbery and after an entertaining game came out on the wrong side of the score, with Nemo winning out on a final score of 2-7 to 0-11.


Nemo started well and had a 1-1 on the scoreboard before Ross came into the game and replied with four points to leave the game level at half time. Then in the second half, an early goal gave Nemo the advantage, the Ross lads responded well and after an exciting half the game was level with 5 minutes remaining,  Two late points from Nemo gave them the win on a score of 2-7 to 0-11.

Upcoming Fixtures
On Sunday next the 5th of March, the under 21 footballers play Ilen Rovers in Ardfield, in the championship at 3pm. On Saturday, March the 4th, the under 14's are down to play Castlehaven in their league at 3pm in Rosscarbery. Also, on Saturday the 4th of March, the under 16 footballers travel to Bishopstown to play Bishopstown at 2pm. While on Saturday March 11th, the minor footballers are at home to Fermoy at 2pm. Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.
