On Tuesday evening last July 26th, the senior footballers travelled to Douglas to play Douglas in the Kelleher Shield and came away with a good win on a final score of 1-15 to 1-9.
Douglas had the lead at half time on a score of 1-4 to 0-6 and with the Ross lads down to 14 men, seemed to have control of things. But a great second half performance from the Ross lads, lead by James Fitzpatrick along with Alan Jennings, Kevin MacMahon, John Hayes and Padraig Hodett resulted in a great win, with Brian Hodnett getting the Ross goal on the night.

We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 2, 17 and 40.
