These two wins meant Carbery Rangers won their group and qualified for the semi final against Buttevant. The first half of the semi final was a very tight affair with Buttevant leading at half time on a score of 1-2 to 0-3. Then in the second half the number of games began to tell on the Ross lads with both bodies and legs beginning to get tired, resulting in a Buttevant win on a score line of 6-7 to 2-4. Scorers Paul Hodnett 1-1, Eoghan Hayes 0-2, Jack O'Regan 0-1, Keelan Scannell 0-1.
