Seniors playing Championship against Clyda / Under 14's unlucky to lose against Ballincollig in championship / Kelleher Shield win over Newcetown / Under 16's beat Dunmanway in West Cork league - 27/04/2016

Senior Championship
The senior footballers are out in championship action against Clyda Rovers on Sunday, May 1st in Carrigadrohid at 3.30pm.
While on Tuesday May 3rd, the under 13 footballers are down to play Castlehaven at 7.30pm in Castlehaven. Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.

We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 23, 31 and 38. Consolation prizes: €50 Trish Murphy, Ardagh; €30 Mick Russell, Cathedral Place; €20 Ross ladies GAA Club; €20 Sean Hayes, Ballyhoulihan. Next weeks draw will take place in O'Brien's Bar with a jackpot of €5,600.
Under 14's
The under 14 footballers were in championship action on Sunday morning last in Rosscarbery against Ballincollig, in a very entertaining game they unfortunately lost by two points on a final score of 5-8 to 6-7.
Ballincollig started well and early goals had them leading on a score of 4-6 to 3-3 at half time. The Ross lads battled back well and reduced the lead in the second half and took to lead on a score of 5-8 to 5-7 towards the end of the game, but a late goal from Ballincollig gave them a two point win. Hard luck to all involved.

The senior footballers played Newcestown in the Kelleher Shield on Saturday night in Rosscarbery and had a good win on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-12 with Alan Jennings getting the Ross goal.

Under 16's
Well done to the under 16 footballers had a good win over Dunmanway in the league on Monday night on a final score of 1-14 to 2-4.
Ross were leading at half time by a single point on a scor eof 1-8 to 2-4 with the Ross scores coming from Eoghan Hayes and Jack O'Regan. Ross pushed on in the second half to register a good win on a final score of 1-14 to 2-4.
