Under 12 footballers
The under 12 footballers got their 2016 campaign off to a winning start on Monday night last with a one point victory over Castlehaven on a final score of 4-9 to 2-14.

This was a game that ebbed and flowed from start to finish with both teams giving their all in pursuit of victory, the first half produced some brilliant passages of play and great scores with Castlehaven going in at half time three points ahead. The second half followed the same pattern as the first with both teams having their periods of domination, with three minutes to go Castlehaven lead by three points. A pointed Ross free left two between them and in one last all out effort, Ross through caution to the wind and went on an all-out attack. A well worked forty five ended up in the hands of Killian Eady who from thirteen meters out, beat two defenders before unleashing an unstoppable drive to the Castlehaven net. From the kick out the final whistle sounded, giving Ross a one point victory on a score line of Ross 4-9, Castlehaven 2-14.

This was a great team effort by all involved and the team was made up of the following players; Darragh Twomey, Evan Fitzpatrick, Killan Eady, Cormac Cuinnea, Eamonn Hodnett, Ryan Hayes, Conor Twomey, Robbie Wilson, Bosco de Prado, Annraoi Creedon, Andrew Kevane, Colm Hayes, Ben Linehan.
