Under 14 West Cork Cup Final
Carbery Rangers under 14 footballers played Sam Maguires on Thursday night last in Dunmanway in the final of the West Cork Cup, with the Ross lads winning out on a final score of 3-10 to 1-7.
 
In an entertaing game, a John Patrick Eady goal midway through the first half put the Ross lads into a lead of 1-3 to 0-2 with Jack O'Regan, Eoghan Hayes and John Patrick Eady getting the Ross points. Sam Maguires responded well to this and went on to have the better of the rest of the half to lead at the break on a score line of 1-3 to 1-6. Then in the second half the Ross lads took control of the game and three quickly taken points from Ciaran Calnan, Jack O'Regan and Evan Browne levelled the score at 1-6 each. Jack O'Regan then got two more points before Ray Shanahan struck for the second Ross goal of the game. Evan Browne then got in on the scoring registering a point before Jack O'Regan got his fifth point of the game. And with 3 minutes left ion the game an Evan Browne goal sealed victory for Carbery Rangers, on a final score of 3-10 to 1-7.
 
Well done to all involved adding this to the Premier County title that they won earlier in the year.

Club AGM - Change of Date
The Carbery Rangers AGM will now take place on Saturday, November the 28th in the Celtic Ross Hotel at 7.30pm.
