Under 16 County Final
Congratulations to the under 16 footballers who had a brilliant win over St. Michaels in the Premier 2 County final last Saturday evening, winning out on a final score of 2-14 to 1-5.
 
The Ross lads had a great start to the game with Christopher Prendergast getting the first three points. this was then followed by a Paul Hodnett goal. Further points from John O'Brien, John Hodnett and Patrick Hurley, along with two from Mark Hodnett gave the Ross lads a comfortable lead at half time on a score of 1-8 to 0-1.
 
Then in the second half it was more of the same from the Ross with Paul Hodnett getting his and Ross' second goal of the game, while both Mark and John Hodnett scored three points each. St. Michaels scored a penalty late in the game, but Ross kept up the work rate throughout the whole team to give them a historic win on a score line of 2-14 to 1-5. This was a great team performance and well done to the panel and management involved in this great win.

Under 21 Hurlers
The under 21 hurlers played St. Mary's in the West Cork final on Saturday evening last in Rossmore. In an exciting game, Ross were down a point at half time but a second half goal had the Ross lads leading with time almost up, but late scores from St. Mary's gave them the win on a final score of 0-14 to 1-10.

Under 13 Footballers
Hard luck to the under 13 footballers who were beaten in the semi final of the Tony Murphy Cup on Friday night in Ballydehob by Gabriel Óg on a final score of 4-11 to 4-09.

Lotto
Congratulations to Michael and Ann Ronan, Carhugarriffe who won the Carbery Rangers lotto jackpot of €5,000, the numbers drawn were 19, 25 and 31. Next weeks draw will take place in the Pike Bar with a jackpot of €1,000.
 

Upcoming Fixtures
On Monday October 26th, the under 15 footballers are playing Sliabh Rua in their championship at 2.30pm in Rosscarbery. Please check locally to make sure that this fixture hasn't changed.
 

Scór na nÓg
The Scór na nÓg Carbery final will be held on Friday 6th November 2015 at 7.30pm in Rossmore Hall. Local entries are to contact the Rosscarbery Scór secretary Josephine Lynch on 087 9141480 by Friday October 23rd.

 
Club AGM
The Carbery Rangers AGM will take place on Friday, November the 27th in the Celtic Ross Hotel at 7.30pm. Nomination forms are now available on the club website www.carberyrangers.ie, to nominate club officers' for next year. Completed forms should be sent to secretary Liam O'Shea by November the 13th.
