Under 13's

The under 13's had a great win on Sunday morning in the replay of the Tony Murphy Cup game against Castlehaven, winning out on a final score of 6-17 to 1-3. This was a great team effort from all involved and best of luck to the team in the semi final of this competition against Gabriel Rangers on Friday night in Ballydehob at 7.30pm.

Under 12 League Final
Congratulations to the under 12 footballers who won the Rebel Og 'A' league final against Clonakilty in Ahamilla last Tuesday evening on a final score of 1-19 to 4-3.
Clonakilty had the better of the first half and lead at half time by 7 points on a score of 3-3 to 0-5. Then in the second half the Ross lads scored 18 points from play in a great display of football to win by 7 points. Well done to the team and the mentors on a great result.

Minor Footballers
The minor footballers played Ibane Gaels in the West Cork final on Friday night last in Dunmanway and in a close game they were unlucky to lose by a single point on a final score of 1-9 to 0-11.

We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 20, 23 and 27. Consolation prizes: €50 Jeff & Anna c/o Jerry Nagle; €30 Lisa Hayes, Froe; €20 Kathleen Kingston, Burgatia. Next weeks draw will take place in Sam's Cross with a jackpot of €5,000.

Upcoming Fixtures
Best of luck to the under 16 footballers who are in the County Premier 2 final against St. Michaels on this Saturday, October 17th at 4pm in Cloughduv.  While on Friday night October 16th, the under 13's play Gabriel Rangers in the semi final of the Tony Murphy cup in Ballydehob at 7.30pm. And the Junior 4 semi final against Barryroe had been re-fixed for Sunday morning, October 18th at 11.30am in Barryroe. Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.

Scór na nÓg 
am Scór na nÓg chugainn arís. Scór na nÓg is a GAA  under 17 competition that combines all the colour and rivalry of Gaelic Games with the fun element of Ireland’s traditional past-times. There are eight competitions that cover all aspects of Irish culture. Figure Dancing, Set dancing, Solo singing, Ballad Group, Recitation, Instrumental group, Leiriú and Quiz.
Local entries are to contact the Rosscarbery Scór secretary Josephine Lynch on 087 9141480 by Friday October 23rd. The Scór na nÓg Carbery final will be held on Friday 6th November 2015 at 7.30pm in Rossmore Hall.

Club AGM
The Carbery Rangers AGM will take place on Friday, November the 27th in the Celtic Ross Hotel at 7.30pm. Nomination forms are now available on the club website www.carberyrangers.ie, to nominate club officers' for next year. Completed forms should be sent to secretary Liam O'Shea by November the 13th.
