Ladies football
Best of luck to the Carbery Rangers ladies footballers who play Fermoy in the Cork County Intermediate final on Saturday evening, the 5th of September in Passage at 5pm. 

Under 21 hurling Championship
Well done to the under 21 hurlers who played Randal Og in the West Cork championship semi final in Ahiohill on Wednesday August 26th and had a very impressive win on a final score of 7-14 to 2-9.
 
Ross played with a strong wind in the first half and led 2-8 to 0-5 at the short whistle. In the second half Randals came more into the game but great defensive work by Eamonn O MahonyCian Daly and goalkeeper Jack O Donoghue held them at bay. While some great goals at the other end from Brian Hodnett, Rob Hegarty, John Hodnett and Dave O'Donovan ensured a comfortable win for the Ross Lads.

Underage league
The under 13's also had a good win last Wednesday in the league, beating Dunmanway in the league on a final score of 11-9 to 0-4. Well done to all involved.

Kelleher Shield
The senior footballers were in action against Ilen Rovers on Sunday morning last in the Kelleher Shield and had a good win on a final score of 1-14 to 1-5.

Upcoming Fixtures
The senior football county quarter final against Duhallow is now fixed for Sunday September 13th in Pairc Ui Rinn at 3.45pm, this is the second game of a double header with Nemo Rangers playing St. Nicks in the first game.
 
Under 6 and Under 8 training session's continue for the month of September every Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.45am in the pitch in Newtown.
