Underage Football
The under 14 county final against Cobh that was fixed last weekend was called off and will now go ahead later in the summer, the date has yet to be finalised.
The under 13 footballers had an exciting one point win over Barryroe in the league on Sunday morning last in Barryroe. In a great game of football, the Ross lads won on a final score of 9-5 to 7-10.

Junior Football
The junior 3 footballers were in league action last Wednesday evening, where they travelled to Kealkil to play St. Colms. A first half Maurice Moloney goal left the teams level at half time. In the second half St. Colms scored two goals to help them win the game on a final score of 2-6 to 1-4.

In the recent draws for the West Cork Junior 1 football championship, Carbery Rangers were drawn against Muintir Bhaire.
We had no winner of this week's jackpot, the numbers drawn were 4, 12 and 23. Consolation prizes: €50 Michael & Dee Keohane, Grancore; €30 John Joe Barry, Ballyhoulihan; €20 James O'Brien, Bandon. Next weeks draw will take place in Sam's Cross Bar with a jackpot of €2,200.
Cul Camps
This years Cuil Camps are running in Rosscarbery from the 4th to the 7th of August, anyone who wants to register for this, please contact Eddie Hayes on 087 2036871.
Under 6 and Under 8 training session's continue every Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.45am in the pitch in Newtown.
Upcoming Fixtures
On Monday the 6th of July St Fachtna's under 16 hurlers are playing Clonakilty at 7.30pm in Clonakilty. Then on Sunday July 12th, the junior 1 footballers are in league action against Ballinascarthy away at 12 noon in Ballinascarthy.
While the minor footballers are down to play Kilbrittain in Rosscarbery of Thursday the 16th of July at 7.30pm and then on Thursday the 23rd of July they are away to Newcestown again at 7.30pm.
