Under 14 Championship
Well done to the under 14 footballers who had a very impressive win over Na Pairsaigh in the quarter final of the premier 2 championship on Tuesday night June 16th, on a final score of 15-8 to 1-3.

Then on Monday night last they played Valley Rovers and they again had a great result and won a very exciting game on a scoreline of 3-13 to 2-13. 
 
They are now into the county final where they will play Cobh, at time of writing these notes this game has yet to fixed.

Munster Football Blitz
The under 15 footballers were involved in the Munster football under 15 blitz held in Mallow on Saturday June 13th. They won their group by defeating Buttevant and Na Gaeils of Tralee to qualify for the semi finals, where they lost out to Dohenys.
 
The panel on the day was Darren Hayes captain, Mark O'Sullivan, Diarmuid Kerr, Peter Og Hill, Peter O'Sullivan, James O'Riordan, Patrick Hurley, Fintan Barrett, Darragh Hayes, John O'Brien, Alan O'Rourke, Cathal Keane, Brian Hegarty.
 
Senior Football
On Saturday night last the senior footballers had a single point win over Douglas in Rosscarbery in the Kelleher Shield, with Cathal O'Rourke getting the all important goal, the final score was 1-10 to 1-9.

Cul Camps
This years Cuil Camps are running in Rosscarbery from the 4th to the 7th of August, anyone who wants to register for this, please contact Eddie Hayes on 087 2036871.
Under 6 and Under 8 training session's continue every Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.45am in the pitch in Newtown.
