Football Blitz
Well done to the under 15 footballers who won the under 15 blitz held in Skibbereen on Saturday May 30th. On the day they played four games and won all four, in the first game they faced Ilen Rovers and won on a score of 1-7 to 2-1; then they played Dohenys and won on a score of 1-8 to 0-3. In the third game against Ahan Gaels, they won 1-4 to 1-0 and in the final game they played Ballingeary and won well scoring 1-8 in the process. They now have qualified for the Munster finals, which will be held in Mallow on Saturday June 13th.
 
The panel on the day was Darren Hayes captain, Mark O'Sullivan, Diarmuid Kerr, Peter Og Hill, Peter O'Sullivan, James O'Riordan, Patrick Hurley, Fintan Barrett, Darragh Hayes, John O'Brien, Alan O'Rourke, Joe Hicks, Brian Hegarty.


Junior Hurling
Hard luck to the Junior hurlers who were beaten by Ballinacurra last Friday night in the second round of the County hurling championship on a final score of 0-18 to 0-5.

Well done to the minor footballers who had a good win against Urhan last Thursday, May 28th in the Non Exam league on a final score of 2-11 to 0-15. Upcoming Fixtures
The under 14 premier footballers are playing Kilshannig in championship on Saturday the 6th of June in Cloughduv at 6.45pm. While the under 12 footballers are away to Bandon on Monday the 8th of June at 7pm, while on Saturday the 13th of June the under 13 footballers are at home against Gabriel Og at 3.30pm. The junior footballers play Clonakilty in the league on Thursday June the 4th at 8pm away in Clonakilty, while the seniors are down to play Douglas in the Kelleher Shield in Rosscarbery on Friday, June 19th at 8pm.

Under 6 and Under 8 training session's continue every Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.45am in the pitch in Newtown.
