Senior Football Championship
Good luck to the senior footballers who are playing Valley Rovers in the first round of the senior championship on Monday night next, the 4th of May in Ballinascarthy 6.45pm.

Under 12 Footballers
Hard luck to the under 12's who were beaten by a strong Castlehaven team on Monday night. Team: Gearoid Hayes, Jamie Hayes, Patrick Daly, David Dwyer, Matthew Dwyer, Eamon Hodnett, Jack Kivane, Seamus O'Mahony, Ciaran Santry, Conor Twomey, Peadar O'Rourke,  Sam Linehan, Niall Keane, Ciaran McCarthy, Daniel Toibin, Darragh Calnan, Andrew Kevane,  Annraoi Creedon, Brian Collins.

Upcoming Fixtures
In hurling, St. Fachtna's minor hurlers are playing Kilbree on Thursday the 30th of April in Ardfield at 7.30pm in the league. And also on Thursday the 30th of April the under 14's are playing Ahan Gaels away at 7.30pm.
While in football, the under 13's are playing Ilen Rovers on Saturday the 2nd of May at 3.30pm in Rosscarbery. The minor footballers are in league action against Ibane Gaels on Friday the 28th of April at 7.30pm in Rosscarbery. While, the under 16's are away to St. Vincents on Tuesday the 5th of May at 7pm.
The junior footballers are down to play Clann na nGael in the first round of the West Cork championship in Skibbereen on Sunday the 10th of May at 3pm

Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.
Underage Training
For the remainder of the summer the Under 6 and Under 8 training session's will be outdoors on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.45am in the Newtown pitch. The first outdoor session will be on this Saturday morning, May the 2nd.

Last Man Standing
Congratulations to Brendan O'Brien, who won the 'Last Man Standing' competition. This competition was a great success and well done to all who helped out and to those who entered the competition.
We had no winner of the weekly club lotto. The numbers drawn were 18, 25 and 32. Consolation prizes: €50 Caoimhe Calnan, Carbery House; €30 Hugh Keane, Newtown; €20 Aoife Collins, c/o Sean Collins. Next weeks draw will take place in the Celtic Ross Hotel, with a jackpot of €8,200.
