It was a busy weekend of football finals for Carbery Rangers, with the seniors winning the Kelleher Shield on Saturday night; the Junior D team won the West Cork championship final on Sunday; the under 16's winning their league also on Sunday and the under 13's drawing with Castlehaven in the final of the Tony Murphy Cup on Sunday morning.
Kelleher Shield
The senior footballers had a great win last Saturday night in Pairc Ui Rinn over Nemo Rangers in the final of the Kelleher Shield on a final score of 3-10 to 0-09.
Ross were quick to settle and an early goal from John Hayes helped them into the lead, both teams exchanged scores in a tight first half. With the score of the game coming after good work from John O'Rourke who passed into the on-rushing Seamus Hayes, who finished to the net for Ross' second goal to leave Ross leading at half time on a score of 2-03 to 0-06.
In the second half a third Ross goal in the second minute extended the Ross lead and Ross added another seven points to Nemo's three to give them a good win on the night, to finish the year off on a positive. Well done to all involved!

Tony Murphy Cup Final
The under 13's drew with Castlehaven on Sunday morning in the final of the Tony Murphy Cup on a final score of 2-09 to 4-03. Goals in the first half from Jack O'Regan and JP Eady helped Ross into a half time lead of 2-3 to 1-2, but Castlehaven stayed in touch in the second half scoring three goals. The replay is now fixed for Saturday November 8th in Castlehaven at 5pm.

Junior Footballers
The Junior D footballers had a good win over Dohenys in the West Cork championship final last Sunday on a final score of 0-07 to 1-02. With conditions difficult for both teams, the teams were level at half time in a low scoring first half. Ross began to take control of the game and who out on a final score of 0-7 to 1-2

Under 16's League Final
The under 16's were in action on Sunday against Urhan in the league final played in Rosscarbery, where they had a good win on a final score of 2-11 to 2-09. Cathal O'Driscoll and John Hodnett both scored the goals, while Mark Hodnett scored seven points in the win that completed a very good weekend for Carbery Rangers.

Upcoming Fixtures
The replay of the under 13 Tony Murphy cup final is fixed for this Saturday, November 8th in Castlehaven at 5pm.
The under 21 hurlers are playing Gabriel Rangers in the West Cork Championship also on Saturday November 8th at 2.30pm in Skibbereen. While on Sunday the 9th of November, the minor hurlers are in action against Shamrocks in the County league final at 2.30pm, the venue is yet to be confirmed.
Please check locally to make sure that these fixtures haven't changed.

Club Officers'
Nomination forms are now available on the club website, to nominate club officers' for next year. Completed forms should be sent to secretary Liam O'Shea by November the 21st.
The club would like to thank all who contributed to the recent senior county final, all support was greatly appreciated. 
We had no winner of the weekly club lotto. The numbers drawn were 6, 15 and 18. Consolation prizes: €50 Padraig O'Sullivan, Bulterstown Sth; €30 E Cahalane, Charleville; €20 Paddy Coughlan, Carrigroe; Seller Barber Shop. Next weeks draw will take place in the Abbey Bar with a jackpot of €4,000.
