Well done to the senior footballers who had beat Castlehaven last Sunday evening in the senior county championship replay on a final score of 2-14 to 1-08. This was a great team effort with all players involved contributing to the win on the day. Ross started the game well and took the lead before points were exchanged between both teams. Ross were on top when Castlehaven scored a goal to put them into the lead. Ross responded well to this set back to get the next point and then John Hayes scored a goal from a penalty. At half time the score was level at 1-05 each. Then , in the second half, Ross took control of the game to score 1-09, while the Ross defense held Castlehaven to just 3 points, to leave Ross leading by 9 points at the end of the game, winning out on a final score of 2-14 to 1-08.

The under 14 2 footballers had a good win last Saturday evening against St. Oliver Plunketts in the league.

Upcoming Fixtures
Good luck to the senior footballers who are down to play Clonakilty in the quarter final of the senior county championship on Sunday the 21st of September in Enniskeane with a thrown in time of 6pm.
And on Sunday morning September the 21st, the under 14 hurlers are playing against Croke Rovers in the County semi final, in Annahala (Kilmichael)  at 12pm. While the under 12 hurlers are in league action on Monday evening, September the 22nd at 6.15pm against Gabriel Og in Rosscarbery.
