The senior footballers drew with Castlehaven last Saturday evening in Clonakilty in the 4th round of the Senior County Championship. In an exciting game played in front of a full house, a free from John Hayes levelled the game on a final score of 1-11 each. Castlehaven had a one point lead at half time and built on this lead early in the second half, but the Ross team showed great team spirit to fight back to level the game with Seamus Hayes scoring a the important goal. Well done to all involved.

All-Ireland Winner
Congratulations to Sarah Hayes who was part of the winning Cork under 16 team, who beat Dublin in the All-Ireland final on Saturday last in Templemore on a score of 4-07 to 2-07.

Upcoming Fixtures
The senior footballer replay against Castlehaven is now fixed for Sunday the 14th of September in Clonakilty with a thrown in time of 3.30pm.
 
Good luck to the under 14 hurlers who are playing in the West Cork championship final on Thursday night the 4th of September against St.Colums in Skibbereen at 6.30pm. And also to the under 16 footballers who are playing Sam Maguires in the West Cork championship on Sunday next the 7th of September in Clonakilty at 6.30pm.
 
Then on Monday the 8th of September the under 14 hurlers are in league action against Fastnet Gaels in Ballydehob at 6.45pm.
