Under 14 County Final
A goal from a well taken Paul Hodnett penalty with time almost up, left the teams level at the end of a very entertaining under 14 football county final against Midleton on Saturday last, on a final score was 2-06 to 2-06.

Midleton were on top in the first half and lead at half time on a score of 1-05 to 0-1. Ross started the second half well and an early goal from Paul Hodnett started the Ross comeback. With the team playing better, Ross took control of the game and points from Fintan Barret, Paul Hodnett, Alan O'Rourke and Darragh Hayes reduced the difference, Midleton reponded with a point and late in the game they got a goal to leave them leading by a single goal. With time almost up Ross were awarded a penalty, which Paul Hodnett scored to level the game on a final score of 2-06 to 2-06.

Well done to all involved and best of luck in the replay, which is fixed for this Thursday, the 3rd of July at 7.30pm in Cloughduv.

Kelleher Shield
A goal from Seamus Hayes early in the second half helped the senior footballers to a good win over Nemo Rangers in their Kelleher shield game played on Friday night the 27th, in Rosscarbery on a final score of 1-09 to 0-10.

Upcoming Fixtures
The replay of the under 14 football premier 2 county final against Midleton is fixed for this Thursday, the 3rd of July at 7.30pm in Cloughduv. The under 16 hurlers are in action in the league on Monday the 7th of July against Kilbrittain in Rosscarbery at 7.30pm. Then  on Wednesday the 9th of July the minor hulers in league action against St.Colums away in Kealkil at 7.30pm. And the minor footballers are in league action on Saturday the 12th against Kilmacabea in Leap at 7.30pm.

Charity walk in aid of Marymount Hospice.
Rosscarbery Ladies Football ask you to pull out your favourite sports jersey on July 11th for their ‘Jersey Shore Walk’. The 5K walk will be in aid of Marymount Hospice and Rosscarbery Ladies Football. The club are delighted to have the inspirational Joanne O’ Riordan as special guest on the evening. Wear your favourite jersey to be in with a chance of winning a variety of spot prizes, including most original jersey. The club hope to see you at Ardagh Pitch at 6.30pm. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided at the clubhouse afterwards. So come along with a gang or meet friends along the way. Your donations will make a big difference to these two causes.

Registration for this years Cúl Camps will take place on Saturday morning, July the 5th in Newtown at 11am.
