Underage Football
The under 14 footballers played two league games in the last week, the first game was away to Dunmanway last Thursday and Ross had a good win on a final score of 4-07 to 3-07.
Then on Saturday night last they played Fermoy in the league in Fermoy. Ross were a point down at half time, but an excellent second half display by the whole team saw Ross win out comfortably on a final score of 4-18 to 2-11.

Non-exam League
The minor footballers were away to Passage West last Tuesday evening the 13th of May in the Non-exam league, this resulted in a good win for Ross on a final score of 3-11 to 1-11.

Both Mayfield and Erins Own have withdrawn from the non-exam league, so the next fixture is away to Ilen Rovers on the 10th of June.

Junior Hurling
The Junior hurlers were in league action last Saturday night and lost against Randal Og.

Upcoming Fixtures
The first round of the under 14 championship is on next Friday the 23rd of May against Urhan at 7.30pm in Keakil. And the Junior hurlers are down to play their first Junior championship game next Saturday night in Coachford at 7pm against Lismire.

We had no winner of this week's jackpot; the numbers drawn were 2, 9 and 23. Consolation prizes: €50 Brian McCarthy, Benduff; €30 Joseph O'Sullivan, Gurranes; €20 Michael Twomey, Burgatia. Next weeks draw will take place in The Celtic Ross Hotel with a jackpot of €2,200.
