Minor Footballers The minor footballers travelled to Mallow on Monday night to play Mallow in the minor premier 2 football league and came away with a great win on a final score of 3-11 to 1-9.   Mallow were first to score a point but Ross responded well with a goal from Paul Hodnett. Congratulations to our senior footballers on reaching a historic first senior county final in 108 years, after a great semi final win against Bishopstown. The Sam Maguire cup was in Rosscarbery on Saturday evening last and their was a large turnout in the square to greet the Cork players as they paraded the Cup to the stage where they were joined by Cork manager Conor Counihan. U16's Defeated in County final - 14/11/2010
Rosscarbery U16 footballers tasted defeat for the second year in a row at the county final stage on Saturday last when they went down to Boherbue by 5-6 to 2-8. It was tough on the Ross boys after a great campaign in which they had looked defeat in the face on several occasions and had fought back to clam the win in the earlier rounds.
