           Well done to the U12 girls who won the West Cork league final against Kinsale. This was a very exciting close game of football that could have gone either way. The young girls had to fight hard yet again in the county quarter final last Saturday morning, where they narrowly defeated Inch Rovers.        In the Ladies Football on Saturday night next June 11th a draw is being held in the Abbey Bar at 10pm. The proceeds of this are to help towards the costs  for the Feile weekend. Last week was a busy one on the playing fields for our girls. On Thursday evening last the senior girls travelled to Cloughduv and took on Naomh Aban and came away with a win on a score line of 3.12 to 4.05, while our junior team were well beaten by Eirn's  Own in Caherlag. The U14 teams have also been busy the A team had a good win  away to Kinsale while the B team were at home to St Colums's and also proved too strong for their opposition. ROSS LADIES: The Junior girls lost to Middleton and beat Dohneys in the Div 3 league. The u14 A team beat Bantry and the u14 B team had a good win against Caheragh. Up coming fixtures to date, Div. 1 league v Naobh Abhan on Thursday in Cloughduv at 7pm, U14 A v Kinsale away on Friday at 6.30pm and U14 B at home v st. Colums on Sat at 1.15pm. ROSS LADIES: Well done to the U14 team of 2010 who had a great win over Valley Rovers in last years delayed final in Ahiohill on Sunday evening. The senior girls travelled to Beara on Saturday morning to play Beara in the first game of the league. In a game where the Ross girls lead for most of the game they were unlucky to lose by 1 point.  On Sunday last the Rosscarbery Ladies Football Club held their registration and medals presentation in the Celtic Ross Hotel. Medals were presented to the U16, U14 and U12 teams. There was great celebrations in Rosscarbery last Saturday 6th November when the long awaited County U16 B final was eventually played and the Ross girls were crowned county Champions.
